1 Fatally Shot in Pacoima Home, Alleged Suspect Taken Into Custody

PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 29 (KNN) — A person was shot to death in a residential neighborhood in Pacoima Tuesday night.

Los Angeles police officers and the fire department responded to the 12500 block of Debell Street for a reported shooting inside a house around 9 p.m.

LAPD officers arriving on scene took one person into custody.

The victim was deemed beyond medical help and pronounced deceased at the location by firefighter/paramedics.

LAPD’s Foothill Division officers had the street closed for a crime scene and were investigating the shooting.

There is no additional information at this time.
