1 Hospitalized After 3-Vehicle Traffic Collision in Downtown Los Angeles

Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA: A three-vehicle traffic collision early Sunday morning on the 110 Freeway left one victim in critical condition.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred on the southbound 110 Freeway and 8th Street exit around 2:43 a.m., May 20, in the downtown area of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department and California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and blocked all lanes on the southbound 110 Freeway in the area of the crash.

CHP reported one patient was in critical condition and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The other parties involved in the collision were not transported for medical care.

The cause of crash is unknown at this time.
