Bakersfield, Kern County, CA: Bakersfield Fire Department responded to a structure fire around 12:35 a.m. Friday, May 27, on the 2100 block of South I Street in the city of Bakersfield.

One person was transported to Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Arson investigators were called to the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
