1 Injured in Rosedale Shooting; Investigation Underway

ROSEDALE, Calif., Sept. 28 (KNN) — An investigation is underway into a shooting that left one person injured in a parking lot in Rosedale Saturday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m., a reported shooting was dispatched to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office and Kern County Fire Department.

Initial reports indicate one person sustained two gunshot wounds. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time. This incident occurred near Chase Bank on Rosedale Highway and Allen Road.

The Key News Network video from the location shows a crime scene centered around a pickup truck parked in a parking lot with deputies investigating. Marked bullet casings on the ground are also seen in the KNN video.

There is no further information at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
