1 Injured in Suspected DUI Rollover Crash in Westlake

WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 19 (KNN) — At least one person was injured in a rollover crash involving a driver suspected of driving under the influence in Westlake early Thursday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division responded to reports of a vehicle rollover around 1:41 a.m. at the intersection of West 8th Street and South Westlake Avenue.

While en route, officers were advised that a female under the influence of alcohol had fled the scene.

At least one person was found injured at the scene and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

No further information was immediately available.
