1 Killed in 91 Freeway Traffic Collision in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Sept. 13 (KNN) — A multi-vehicle traffic collision left one dead on the 91 Freeway in Riverside late Thursday night.

At approximately 11:52 p.m., the Riverside City Fire Department, California Highway Patrol Riverside officers, and the Riverside Police Department responded to a three-vehicle traffic collision on the eastbound 91 Freeway, west of the Pierce Street off-ramp.

Upon arrival, Riverside City Fire personnel noticed a collision involving three vehicles and a fatality. At this time, it is unknown how this collision occurred.

This incident is currently under investigation by CHP and the Riverside City PD.

There are no further details at this time.
