1 Killed in Hollywood Hills Shooting, Multiple People Detained

Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA: A person was fatally shot at a location on Cahuenga Boulevard early Wednesday morning.

Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Division officers responded to reports of a shooting around 4 a.m., May 31, at a possible after hours night club located on the 3300 block of Cahuenga Boulevard in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles.

California Highway Patrol and LAPD officers arrived at the location, and an airship overhead alerted units to an officer needs help call. Every available valley division unit responded to the scene.

Multiple parties were detained who appeared to be witnesses, and three persons of interest were observed in custody.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and left with an empty gurney.
