La Crescenta, Los Angeles County, CA: One person was killed in a multi-vehicle traffic collision just before midnight Saturday, Dec. 10, on the 210 Freeway in the city of La Crescenta.

The Glendale Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to the area of the 210 Freeway southbound at Pennsylvania Avenue for the traffic collision.

Arriving units found a multi-vehicle traffic collision with cars scattered in all lanes.

One person was beyond medical help and pronounced deceased at the scene. The conditions of the occupants in the other vehicles are unknown at this time.

CHP had four lanes of traffic closed with only one lane open and will be conducting an investigation into the collision.

Heavy rain was falling at the time of the crash.
