SOUTH LOS ANGELES, May 27 (KNN) — The shooting of two men in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood within South Los Angeles shortly before midnight Saturday, left one man dead at the scene.
Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division officers responded to reports of a shooting with two victims in the area of Flower and 68th streets.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located an unresponsive man as well as an additional male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The unresponsive man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The second victim was transported to the hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. His condition was not immediately known.
There are no further details at this time.
