1 Person Suffers Smoke Inhalation in Whittier Apartment Fire

WHITTIER, Calif., Feb. 14 (KNN) — An apartment fire late Tuesday night left one person suffering from smoke inhalation, according to initial information from the scene.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched around 11:17 p.m. to a fire at an apartment building on the 6500 block of Pickering Avenue in the city of Whittier.

One person was found to be suffering from smoke inhalation and was transported to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

It was not immediately clear if the person was located outside or inside the burning apartment.
