NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (KNN) — One person was shot and wounded outside the Fat Dog restaurant in North Hollywood Monday evening.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the Fat Dog Restaurant located in the 11000 block of Magnolia Boulevard for a shooting that occurred around 8 p.m.
According to LAPD officers at the scene, a person was struck by gunfire and hit in the leg. The person was transported to a local hospital.
The shooter fled in a white vehicle. The cause of the shooting is unknown at this time.
Travis, who spoke to Key News Network on camera, said his crew called from the restaurant directly across the street, informing him of the shooting. He rushed to the location to find the scene on lockdown by officers.
Travis told KNN that he and his crew decided to close down early for the night for the safety of the crew and patrons.
There are no further details at this time.
