1 Struck, Killed on Freeway While Servicing Vehicle

Sylmar, Los Angeles, CA: Los Angeles Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic collision with reports of a person trapped under a vehicle on the 210 West to the 118 West transition just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22.

When LAFD arrived, firefighters found one person beyond medical help under a vehicle. The person was reportedly servicing a car when another vehicle slammed into the back of the car striking and killing the individual.

CHP had all lanes on the westbound 210 Freeway closed including two lanes of construction in the Sylmar area of the San Fernando Valley.

CHP was diverting traffic to the 118 West.
