1 Trapped in Solo Vehicle Rollover Crash

BAKERSFIELD, CA, July 8 (KNN) — A driver was trapped and rendered unconscious after a solo vehicle rollover crash early Saturday morning in the city of Bakersfield.

Around 12:36 a.m. Saturday, Bakersfield police officers received a call for a single-vehicle rollover crash on Stockdale Highway near Coffee Road.

When officers arrived, they located an unconscious male in the driver seat of a vehicle on its side near a building. Water gushed into the street from an apparent broken water pipe due to the crash.

The patient was extricated from the vehicle and then transported by Bakersfield Fire Department personnel to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
