LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1 (KNN) — A man was wounded in a shooting in the downtown area of Los Angeles early Friday morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division units responded to a shooting around 1:23 a.m. with a victim down in the 600 block of South Flower Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a male down on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the leg in front of a convenience store.
The suspect was described as wearing a helmet and possibly armed with a firearm.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by LAFD firefighter/paramedics. The condition of the patient was not immediately known.
The shooting is under investigation.
