1 Wounded in Panorama City Shooting

PANORAMA CITY, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Police Department and fire department personnel responded to reports of a victim down as result of a shooting shortly after 12 a.m. Friday on the 14800 block of Roscoe Boulevard in Panorama City.

Responding officers found the victim who had self-transported to Mission Community Hospital, one block away from the shooting location.

LAFD firefighter/paramedics transported the patient to a hospital equipped to handle gunshot wounds.

The LAPD is investigating the incident.
