2 Critical, Trapped Inside Vehicle in El Sereno Traffic Collision

EL SERENO. LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (KNN) — Two people were critically injured and trapped inside their vehicle after crashing into a pole in El Sereno.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division responded to reports of a solo-vehicle crash at the Valley Boulevard and Del Paso Avenue intersection shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

When first responders arrived at the scene, they located a blue Honda Fit into a traffic signal pole with two patients trapped.

Both patients were extricated by firefighters and transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
