2 Fatally Shot in Vehicle With Infant in Back Seat

HARBOR CITY, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 5 (KNN) — A man and a woman were both shot and killed while inside a vehicle on a street in Harbor City with their 1-year-old infant in the back seat.

Authorities say the victims were sitting in their vehicle on the 1000 block of 253rd street when someone approached and opened fire shortly after 6:30 p.m.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene and the woman was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The infant was not injured, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

There are no further details at this time.
