Mission Hills, Los Angeles, CA: Two people were transported to the hospital after a traffic collision involving three vehicles on the 405 Freeway early Sunday morning, Oct. 2, 2022.

Paramedics and two ambulances were requested for a traffic collision around 1:41 a.m. on the southbound 405 Freeway, south of San Fernando Mission at the 118 connector in Mission Hills.
One white SUV landed on its roof after colliding into one of the vehicles that was reported prior to California Highway Patrol.
Bystanders stopped and helped the male and female from the overturned vehicle. The male driver was unconscious at the time of transport to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. The female passenger from the same vehicle was also transported with injuries to both of her legs.
As for the driver of the white Honda Civic, they had no injuries (vehicle blocking slow lane). The driver of the white Nissan Sentra was assessed by paramedics and was not transported (vehicle blocking HOV lane).
CHP is investigating the incident.
