2 Injured in 60 Freeway Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Fire

Pomona, Los Angeles County, CA: A multi-vehicle traffic collision on the 60 Freeway early Wednesday morning involved fire and left two people injured.

California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving a semi, eastbound 60 Freeway at Reservoir Street around 3:17 a.m., Feb. 22.

CHP received additional 911 calls of multiple vehicles crashing into the first reported collision and one vehicle on fire.

Once firefighters arrived on scene, they located one vehicle fully engulfed in flames and two other cars with major damage.

One female was transported to a local hospital with major burn injuries. A second victim in another vehicle was transported with minor injuries.

CHP diverted all eastbound traffic off at Reservoir Street. A SigAlert was issued for an unknown period of time.
