PORTER RANCH, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 9 (KNN) — Two people were killed in a crash late Tuesday night that required extrication efforts from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The incident was reported at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Tampa Avenue near Chatsworth Street in Porter Ranch.
Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department and officers from the Los Angeles Police Department Devonshire Division were dispatched to the scene.
Two male patients in one vehicle – a 58-year-old and an approximately 50-year-old – were pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the LAFD. An approximately 20-year-old male patient from the second vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no additional information has been confirmed at this time.
