TORRANCE, Calif., Nov. 12 (KNN) — A two-vehicle crash on the southbound 405 Freeway south of the Crenshaw exit left two dead late Monday night, according to CHP. The crash, which involved one vehicle rolling over, was reported at 11:44 p.m.
Emergency responders from the California Highway Patrol and Torrance Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. A SigAlert was issued for a full closure of all southbound lanes as authorities worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the incident.
The exact number of injuries remains unclear at this time. Los Angeles County Medical Examiner personnel were on the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
A sergeant at the scene could only confirm it was a fatal crash, two vehicles, no further information.
