SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Jan. 19 (KNN) — A shooting in the Athens area of South Los Angeles Thursday night left two men wounded.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s South Los Angeles Station responded to a shooting at the intersection of Laurel Street and Normandie Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. where two Hispanic males were found wounded in the street, according to the watch commander.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department transported both gunshot victims to a local hospital in stable condition.
A vehicle observed within the crime scene may have been involved in the incident, but details are unclear at this time. The car did not appear to be damaged.
There was no further information regarding the shooting from the South L.A. sheriff’s station.
