2 Stabbed During Apparent Fight in Newhall

NEWHALL, SANTA CLARITA, Aug. 28 (KNN) — Two people were found wounded from a stabbing incident in the Newhall community of Santa Clarita late Monday night.

A fight was reported around 11:45 p.m. at the Village Apartments on Silverado and Via Canon.

When sheriff’s deputies and paramedics arrived at the scene, they found two individuals with lacerations to the face.

One person was found unresponsive, lying on the roadway center median next to a parked truck. The other stabbed patient was seen sitting across the street on a low wall in front of an apartment complex being examined by paramedics.

Both injured parties appeared to have been transported by ambulance to a local hospital. However, one was observed handcuffed to the gurney as paramedics loaded the patient into the ambulance.

One party was the victim, the other was allegedly the suspect.
