2 Transported to Hospital After Shooting at Grant High School

Vally Glen, Los Angeles, CA: A shooting occurred in front of Grant High School on Wednesday, June 1, at approximately 3:24 p.m. on the 13000 block of Oxnard Street in the Valley Glen neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley.

A male victim suffering from a gunshot wound and a school resource officer were transported to a local area hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. The Los Angeles Police Department said the male victim was transported in stable condition.

Los Angeles Valley Bureau officers responded to reports of a shooting at the school. The school was briefly placed on “lockdown” while officers conducted their investigation.

There is no suspect description at this time.
