2 Trapped After Vehicle Collision Into Pole in Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (KNN) — A vehicle slammed into a pole, leaving two occupants trapped in need of rescue overnight in Boyle Heights.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the 1900 block of East 4th Street for reports of a traffic collision at approximately 2:16 a.m. Monday.

When units arrived at the scene, they located a vehicle into a large pole with heavy intrusion on the driver’s side.

Both occupants were extricated and transported by LAFD in unknown condition.

There are no further details at this time.
