2-Vehicle Collision in South Los Angeles Involves Fire, Leaves 3 Injured

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17 (KNN) — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision overnight with one vehicle involved in fire.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision just after 1 a.m. Saturday at South Flower and West 30th streets in the University Park neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

When units arrived on scene, they located one of the vehicles wedged between a pole and structure. That vehicle was involved in flames.

At least three people were reported to be injured with possibly one victim in immediate need to be hospitalized.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division is handling the investigation.

No further details are available at this time.
