Ventura, Ventura County, CA: Three people were injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision involving fire early Thursday morning.
Ventura police officers and the Ventura City Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire around 4:19 a.m., June 1, at Bristol Road and Sunridge Drive in the city of Ventura.
While en route, first responders were alerted that the vehicle fire stemmed from a two-vehicle collision at the intersection.
When units arrived on scene, they found a Ford Flex engulfed in flames along with a Nissan Rogue with heavy damage.
The solo occupant in the Nissan as well as the male and female occupants in the Ford were transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
