LANCASTER, CA, Sept. 26 (KNN) — Two vehicles collided late Monday night in the city of Lancaster leaving the driver of one of the vehicles trapped and fatally injured.
At approximately 10:42 p.m., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lancaster Station responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision on Challenger Way and Avenue H-4.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered one party was trapped inside one of the vehicles. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and utilized the Jaws of Life to free the trapped driver from the mangled vehicle. However, their efforts to save the driver were unsuccessful and they pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown at this time.
