La Habra, Orange County, CA: At least three people were hospitalized after a violent two-vehicle crash sent a Mercedes Benz flipping over into a power pole Thursday afternoon, Feb. 16.
La Habra Police and Los Angeles County Fire department personnel responded to the intersection of Lambert Road and Whitebrook Drive in the city of La Habra around 12:13 p.m. regarding a two-vehicle traffic collision with power lines across one car.
All occupants were able to self-extricate from both vehicles prior to the fire department’s arrival. However, two required advanced paramedic care.
All eastbound lanes of Lambert Road were shut down east of Beach Boulevard causing a major traffic bottleneck.
Edison and tow crews worked collaboratively to clear the roadway and repair the pole.
