2 Vehicles Crash Into 2 Separate Poles in Lake Balboa Intersection

LAKE BALBOA, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 12 (KNN) — Two vehicles crashed into poles at a Lake Balboa intersection early Wednesday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department and firefighters responded to the area of Vanowen Boulevard and Encino Avenue for a traffic collision with fire.

Upon arrival, Los Angeles Fire Department personnel found two separate vehicles that had collided with a traffic pole and a power pole. One vehicle had fire coming from the engine bay, which was quickly knocked down.

Two people suffered unknown injuries as a result of the crash. It is also unknown if paramedics transported anyone to a hospital.

LAPD officers had shut down the street due to downed power lines.
