2 Women Found Stabbed in Hollywood, 1 Critical

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 (KNN) — Two women were stabbed, one critically, and a female suspect was placed into police custody early Monday morning in Hollywood.

The incident occurred on the 7200 block of West Sunset Boulevard next to the Bossa Nova restaurant shortly before 2 a.m.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division officers responded to the location and found two women suffering from stab wounds.

One woman was stabbed in the hand and the second woman was stabbed in the back, found unconscious and not breathing, according to initial information from the scene.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported both victims to a local area hospital. The female stabbed in the back was transported with CPR in progress.

The LAPD reported having a female suspect in custody.
