2 Wounded in Boyle Heights Shooting

BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, July 31 (KNN) — A man and woman were found shot Monday night in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck Division officers along with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a shooting shortly before 10:30 p.m. on the 500 block of South Estudillo Avenue.

A male was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and a female was found with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Both victims were transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition. Officers were observed with flashlights searching the scene for evidence.
