LONG BEACH, CA, Aug. 11 (KNN) — At least two people were wounded in a car shooting at a major intersection in the city of Long Beach late Thursday evening.
The Long Beach Police Department received reports of shots fired at the intersection of Wardlow Road and Clark Avenue shortly after 8 p.m.
When officers arrived, they located two males inside a red and black BMW sedan, one of whom was shot in the arm.
Both patients were transported to area trauma centers in unknown conditions. The entire intersection had been cordoned off in all directions.
A possible shooter was detained nearby, however, details are still developing.
Detectives have been summoned to the location.
