3 Injured in Fiery Rollover Crash on 60 Freeway

POMONA, CA, Aug. 4 (KNN) — A fiery, single-vehicle, rollover crash left three people injured on the 60 Freeway early Friday morning.

The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Fire Department received multiple 911 calls regarding a traffic collision with fire on the eastbound 60 Freeway just before the 71 Freeway split in the city of Pomona.

Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located an overturned vehicle on fire in the carpool lane. All occupants inside the vehicle were able to make it out safely.

A total of three people were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time.

CHP had the carpool lane and the fast lane closed for an unknown duration.
