Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA: A shooting occurred early Saturday morning leaving four wounded.
Los Angeles police officers from Rampart Division responded to multiple reports of a shooting around 2:00 a.m., May 20, with a victim down on the 1000 block of Ingraham Street in the downtown area of Los Angeles.
Upon arrival, officers found four gunshot victims at the location.
According to LAPD Officer Drake Madison, three male victims – 25-30 years old – and a female victim approximately 40 years old experiencing homelessness, were standing in front of the location when four male Hispanic suspects approached in a vehicle and fired multiple shots, striking the victims.
The suspects fled the location in their vehicle, reported Madison.
Officers at the scene were observed marking the locations of bullet casings found in the street in the area of the shooting.
All four victims were transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. They are in stable condition, according to Madison.
It is currently unknown if the incident is gang related.
