NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 19 (KNN) — An overnight shooting in front of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Northridge left three victims wounded inside a minivan.
The shooting occurred around 2:45 a.m. Friday in a 7-Eleven parking lot right outside the front door of the store located at the intersection of Corbin Avenue and Parthenia Street. The Los Angeles Police Department and fire department responded to reports of multiple victims shot inside a vehicle at the location.
Upon arrival, first responders located three victims – two in serious condition, and one critical. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported two victims to Northridge Hospital, and the critical patient was taken to Holy Cross.
The suspect is described as a Black male in a red Ford Mustang who used a semi-automatic handgun.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time and under investigation.
