3 Suspects in Vehicle Allegedly Point Laser at LASD Airship

PARAMOUNT, CA, July 7 (KNN) — Three people suspected of pointing a laser at a Los Angeles Sheriff’s Departmet airship were all taken into custody following a traffic collision Friday night.

An LASD airship reported a vehicle with three occupants driving and shining a possible laser at the airship around 10:45 p.m.

Sheriff’s units located the vehicle and followed the suspects. The suspect vehicle ended up crashing into an uninvolved vehicle and hit a light pole in the intersection of Lakewood and Somerset Boulevards in the city of Paramount.

No one was transported to a hospital and the three suspects were placed into handcuffs by deputies at the scene.
