Northridge, Los Angeles, CA: One person was trapped after a three-vehicle traffic collision late Thursday night, May 18.
The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a call of an overturned vehicle with a party trapped around 11:51 p.m. on the 18300 block of West Lassen Street in Northridge.
When firefighters arrived at the location, they found a traffic collision involving three vehicles with one vehicle on a sidewalk with a male trapped inside.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate the trapped victim within 10 minutes of arrival. The freed patient was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division is investigating the collision.
