3 Vehicles Collide During Street Takeover

COMPTON, CA, Sept. 10 (KNN) — A traffic collision involving multiple vehicles occurred during a street takeover in the city of Compton overnight.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call for a traffic collision on Rosecrans Avenue and Broadway shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday.

When units arrived at the location, firefighters reported to dispatch that a street takeover was currently happening in the intersection.

Firefighters had to stage about a block away until the vehicles doing donuts left the area.

It took about five minutes for the vehicles to leave before firefighters were able to report a collision involving three vehicles with one head-on crash.

One vehicle was seen tagged with spray paint.

Two patients were assessed by firefighters at the scene but no injuries were reported and no one was transported for medical care.

The other drivers involved in the collision had left the scene.
