Officers with the California Highway Patrol were in pursuit of a gray Jeep SUV on I-15 South for reasons not yet known when the SUV lost control and crashed off the highway, rolling multiple times and ejecting all four occupants of the vehicle.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department was requested to respond to the scene to aid the injured parties. The vehicle and ejected parties landed on the west side of Interstate 15 on Quarry Road north of Stoddard Wells Road.

One airship was requested to land at the scene but could not due to a lack of ground access. Instead, two of the occupants were transported to helipads and via air ambulance to trauma centers due to the severity of their injuries sustained in the collision.

CHP officers on the scene recovered an unknown amount of firearms believed to belong to the suspects in the pursuit and are seen on the KNN video handling one of the firearms recovered.

No further information is available at this time as the CHP continues the investigation.
