La Habra Police Department officers initiated pursuit of a white Chevrolet Suburban shortly after 12 a.m.

Orange County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers requested the assistance of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s airship to assist as the pursuit made its way into East Whittier and La Mirada.

Dispatchers advised that suspects were wanted in connection to a shooting. At one point, LASD Norwalk units joined the pursuit due to the low number of La Habra PD officers who were in pursuit of the vehicle.

LASD assisted until they were pulled off the pursuit by their watch commander and told not to assist the two solo La Habra officers as they continued their chase.

The pursuit eventually made its way back into Orange County, where Fullerton and Buena Park PD units joined the pursuit.

The suspects came to a stop on Montwood Avenue and Euclid Street shortly after 1 a.m., where they all surrendered to police without incident.

La Habra PD will be handling the investigation.
