5 Injured in El Segundo Head-On Crash

EL SEGUNDO, CA, July 10 (KNN) — Five people were injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision Monday night.

The head-on crash was reported at approximately 10 p.m. at the intersection of East Grand Avenue and Sierra Street in the city of El Segundo.

The El Segundo Fire Department and police responded to the scene and found one white Land Rover on its side and a black Tesla sedan on the sidewalk.

The victims were assessed at the scene and all five patients were transported to a local area hospital with various injuries: two patients in serious condition, two in stable condition and one with minor injuries.

The cause of the collision is unknown at this time.
