5 Wounded in Pasadena Shooting, Investigation Underway

PASADENA, CA, Aug. 25 (KNN) — Five people were wounded in a shooting in Pasadena Friday evening near the intersection of Summit Avenue and Orange Grove Boulevard.

Pasadena Police Department officers were dispatched at 7:30 p.m. to the 100 block of East Orange Grove Boulevard for reports of shots fired, according to Pasadena PD.

Upon arrival, officers found at least five wounded victims in a residential parking lot.

Four victims were transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The fifth victim self-transported to the hospital, according to the PPD. The conditions of the victims are unknown at this time.

According to authorities, gunfire erupted during a fight.

No suspects were taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
