Firefighters Douse Flames Consuming Structure in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, CA, Aug. 19 (KNN) — Firefighters doused flames consuming a structure late Friday night that appeared to have previously burned.

Bakersfield Fire Department personnel were dispatched around 11:44 p.m. to the 600 block of Goodman Street in the city of Bakersfield for multiple reports of a fire.

Arriving firefighters found a burning structure at the location and worked to extinguish the flames.

Bakersfield police officers assisted with traffic control in the area.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
