Apparent Car-to-Car Shooting Leaves Male Wounded

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (KNN) — An apparent car to car shooting on a street in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood within South Los Angeles left a male wounded early Saturday morning.

Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division units responded to a shooting in the street on Figueroa just north of 77th Street shortly before 2:30 a.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a male with numerous gunshot wounds in the drivers seat of a vehicle.

The victim was transported in unknown condition to the hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department firefighter/paramedics.

The suspect is believed to have shot from another vehicle.

There were no further details at the time of this report.
