Suspect Allegedly Armed With Gun Robs Castaic Gas Station

CASTAIC, CA, Aug. 19 (KNN) — Deputies are investigating a robbery at a Castaic gas station that left a food mart store clerk rattled and a suspect in the wind.

The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday at the Shell fuel station on the 31400 block of Ridge Route Road.

A witness to the crime described the suspect as a White man in his 30s wearing all black – a black hoodie and a balaclava covering his face and nose.

The suspect stated he had a gun and needed money, according to the witness.

The man got away on foot with an unknown amount of money.

Deputies are investigating the crime.
