2 Vehicles Found in Arroyo Seco River

MONTECITO HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 20 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports from the California Highway Patrol shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday of two vehicles floating down the Arroyo Seco near Avenue 43 in the Montecito Heights neighborhood within Northeast Los Angeles.

When units arrived on scene, they located a white sedan and a white pickup truck on either side of the overpass.

It was unclear how the incident occurred, but LAFD responded with a Swift Water Rescue team for possible victims.

Both vehicles were found to be unoccupied.
