The Long Beach Police Department was notified of a city tree that fell onto a Toyota 4Runner in the 6800 Block of East Espanita Street.

A large branch came crashing down onto the vehicle, blocking the entire roadway.

Due to a large call volume, City Public Works crews were delayed in getting to the location to clear the roadway.

Elsewhere at Alamitos Bay, high winds could be seen blowing trees around as flags flapped aggressively in the parking lot of the Ballast Point Restaurant.
