Investigation Underway Into Shooting of Victim in Reseda

RESEDA, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22 (KNN) — A shooting in Reseda Tuesday night left an unidentified victim wounded and prompted an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The LAPD responded to a shooting in progress at approximately 10:15 p.m. in the 18400 block of Vanowen Street at what appeared to be a commercial business.

When units arrived, they found a victim of a shooting with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Firefighter/paramedics with the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the victim in unknown condition to a local hospital.

There was no information regarding suspect(s) at the time of this report.

The investigation is ongoing.
