Solo Vehicle Crash Into Pole Traps 1 Victim

LADERA HEIGHTS, CA, Aug. 30 (KNN) — A single-vehicle collision into a power pole trapped one victim and resulted in the southbound closure of La Brea Avenue in Ladera Heights Tuesday night.

The crash, which was reported at approximately 9:47 p.m., involved a dark color sedan that impacted a power pole on the shoulder of the roadway, shearing the pole.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene along with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Traffic Division units.

LAFD reported one victim was trapped in the drivers seat. Firefighters were able to extricate the victim in approximately 15 minutes.

There is no further information regarding the incident at this time.
